Planning and production

Each single project, either for a small or for a big prototype requires hours and hours of hard work and the collaboration of many people.
It is always a fantastic emotion to put this story in words but it is even more beautiful to put it in action.

Our story takes place in a three-story factory building in Vignate on a area of about 5.000 m2. Project planning is carried out by means of an informatics system and three-dimensional mechanical drawings starting with the most elementary and culminating in complex parts which are produced by highly technological machines, such as modern laser cutting machines and robot welders.
All assembly departments are equipped in order to render the staff in charge of the production of single structural components or of the final product completely autonomous.

Our department for the production of the differential gears is absolutely noteworthy. These are, with the exception of particular finishing treatments, completely produced in our factory including the steering gear with central deviation point.
In the so-called „MOT“ department (name created by the internal quality control) IVECO engines are equipped with the BONETTI transfer gear-box directly coupled with the gearshift.
In the carriage department the driver's cab is completely pre-assembled and then mounted on special supports and transferred to the department for final assembly.
The carriage department also disposes of a paint shop where the first part of the cab preparation is carried out as well as the complete varnishing of the differential gears, the chassis and the tippers. The cab first receives a base coating of cataphoretic painting.
During the various final assembly phases the vehicle assumes its final shape but it still has to pass the final inspection and the road test before it is ready for shipping.

The interpretation and application of all standards for industrial vehicles has always been the starting point for the production of BONETTI vehicles.
